World's Last Chance

At the heart of WLC is the true God and his Son, the true Christ — for we believe eternal life is not just our goal, but our everything.

While WLC continues to uphold the observance of the Seventh-Day Sabbath, which is at the heart of Yahuwah's moral law, the 10 Commandments, we no longer believe that the annual feast days are binding upon believers today. Still, though, we humbly encourage all to set time aside to commemorate the yearly feasts with solemnity and joy, and to learn from Yahuwah's instructions concerning their observance under the Old Covenant. Doing so will surely be a blessing to you and your home, as you study the wonderful types and shadows that point to the exaltation of Messiah Yahushua as the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the conquering lion of the tribe of Judah, and the Lamb of Yahuwah that takes away the sins of the world.

Did the serpent (Satan) believe in one God?…or a triune God?

Question: Did the serpent (Satan) believe in one God?...or a triune God?

Answer:

Triune God? No
  • There is no Bible text supporting the idea that Satan believed in a triune God.
One God? Yes
  • And the LORD God (Yahuwah Elohim) said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. (Genesis 3:14-16)
Yahuwah Elohim, the only true God, was speaking directly to the serpent (and the woman) as singular "I" or "he": (I will put...; I will greatly...; he said...) Therefore, Satan knew very well that Yahuwah was one and the only true God, not three Gods.

Later, in the book of Job, we again find a conversation between Yahuwah and Satan. Notice again the singular language:
  • Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD (Yahuwah), and Satan came also among them. And the LORD (Yahuwah) said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD (Yahuwah), and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. And the LORD (Yahuwah) said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? Then Satan answered the LORD (Yahuwah), and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? (Job 1:6-9)
It is clear that Satan knew Yahuwah Elohim by His name and as singular God, not as triune God. The Trinity is an invention of the adversary.
