While WLC continues to uphold the observance of the Seventh-Day Sabbath, which is at the heart of Yahuwah's moral law, the 10 Commandments, we no longer believe that the annual feast days are binding upon believers today. Still, though, we humbly encourage all to set time aside to commemorate the yearly feasts with solemnity and joy, and to learn from Yahuwah's instructions concerning their observance under the Old Covenant. Doing so will surely be a blessing to you and your home, as you study the wonderful types and shadows that point to the exaltation of Messiah Yahushua as the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the conquering lion of the tribe of Judah, and the Lamb of Yahuwah that takes away the sins of the world.

I have recently become convicted of the obligation to observe Biblical holy days, calculated by the ancient luni-solar calendar.  Because the weekly cycle restarts each new lunation with the New Moon, this means that my weekly Sabbath appears to float on the Gregorian calendar with its continuous weekly cycle.

I am writing to affirm that my previously contracted work-time requirement will be fully met, if not more so.  I have included a comparison sheet showing the days available for work on the Gregorian calendar versus the luni-solar calendar.  As you can see, I have 42 more days available per year to work, than the average employee.

At your request, I can forward to you my requested days off for a year.  This will provide advance notification for scheduling conferences and any other meetings you need me to attend.
