World's Last Chance

At the heart of WLC is the true God and his Son, the true Christ — for we believe eternal life is not just our goal, but our everything.

While WLC continues to uphold the observance of the Seventh-Day Sabbath, which is at the heart of Yahuwah's moral law, the 10 Commandments, we no longer believe that the annual feast days are binding upon believers today. Still, though, we humbly encourage all to set time aside to commemorate the yearly feasts with solemnity and joy, and to learn from Yahuwah's instructions concerning their observance under the Old Covenant. Doing so will surely be a blessing to you and your home, as you study the wonderful types and shadows that point to the exaltation of Messiah Yahushua as the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the conquering lion of the tribe of Judah, and the Lamb of Yahuwah that takes away the sins of the world.

The Canon

There were guide lines that the early fathers used as they were led by the Spirit of Yahuwah in compiling the books of the Bible. The main guideline was the inherent harmony of truth, meaning books that contradicted earlier truths were left out of the compiled work. This same guideline can be applied to any tradition that is found outside the Word of Yahuwah.

If a tradition or teaching that is not definitely stated in the Bible does not contradict the whole of the Bible, it is safe to keep. However, if it does contradict the Bible, than it is error. We believe that Yahuwah will reveal the meaning of His word to all those who prayerfully and humbly seek to learn from it with Yahuwah being their tutor. “If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of Yahuwah, or whether I speak of myself.” John 7:17.

The Old Testament existed at Yahushua’s time and was often freely quoted by Yahushua and the disciples (Luke 24:44, Matthew 13:52, 2 Timothy 2:15, John 5:39). Later Holy Spirit inspired the early ekklesia leaders to compile the books of the New Testament.

The Catholic Church did not compile the Bible. The Bible gave rise to the ekklesia and not the ekklesia, the Bible. “Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.” James 1:18.

The reason why we use Ekklesia and not church when referring to Yahuwah's faithful in WLC content is because the word "church" does not accurately convey the meaning of the original Greek, "Ekklesia." Throughout the New Testament, Ekklesia refers to the Called Out Ones. The word "church," which emphasizes a group, is therefore an erroneous translation and should never have been used. Christians are literally the Called Out Ones. The true followers of Yahushua are indeed the Called Out Ones from the organized denominations and religions of fallen Babylon. When the call to flee Babylon has been heard, none are to again return to Babylonian churches and forms of religion.

Sadly, the Catholic Church does not even follow the dictates of the very book they claim to have compiled. For example, the Catholic church changed the Ten Commandments. This has been foretold in Bible prophecy. Click here for Bible proof.

Yahuwah created Adam and Eve to live righteously but they chose to leave their calling and disobey Yahuwah. He called Noah’s children after the flood but they did not all remain in their calling. Yahuwah called the children of Israel out of Egypt, but they soon lost their way so that Yahuwah had to let all those who came out of Egypt to die in the wilderness (all except Joshua and Caleb). Their children then entered into the Promised Land. Yahuwah called the Israelites to be His people, but they crucified His Son.  Just because a person (or people) is called does not assure that they will remain faithful to their calling.
