World's Last Chance

At the heart of WLC is the true God and his Son, the true Christ — for we believe eternal life is not just our goal, but our everything.

While WLC continues to uphold the observance of the Seventh-Day Sabbath, which is at the heart of Yahuwah's moral law, the 10 Commandments, we no longer believe that the annual feast days are binding upon believers today. Still, though, we humbly encourage all to set time aside to commemorate the yearly feasts with solemnity and joy, and to learn from Yahuwah's instructions concerning their observance under the Old Covenant. Doing so will surely be a blessing to you and your home, as you study the wonderful types and shadows that point to the exaltation of Messiah Yahushua as the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the conquering lion of the tribe of Judah, and the Lamb of Yahuwah that takes away the sins of the world.

Why does the app change the luni-solar date at midnight?

Question:  Why does the app change the luni-solar date at midnight?

Answer: The Calendar App is designed primarily to show parallel dates on the luni-solar calendar and the Gregorian calendar.  The app changes both the luni-solar date and the Gregorian date at midnight in order to keep the two in sync.  If it did not, the app would be in error much of the time.

For example, let's suppose that March 31 is New Moon Day in your location.  At midnight on March 31, the app will change the Gregorian date to April 1.  If the luni-solar date did not change at the same time, the app would be in error because it would highlight April 1 on the Gregorian calendar while still highlighting New Moon Day on the luni-solar calendar.
