QUESTION: It troubles me to see WLC using words that Satan uses for
his pagan gods.  Words like “glory,”
holy,” “sanctify,” “grace,” are all words which apply to Satan through his
false gods.  Why is WLC taking words that
Satan uses and applying them to Yahuwah?

ANSWER: Satan’s goal has always been to receive the worship which
should belong only to the Almighty.  He
went so far as to boast: “I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne
above the stars of . . . [Yahuwah]: . . . I will ascend above the heights of
the clouds; I will be like the most High.” 
(Isaiah 14:13, 14, KJV)

It is blasphemous to apply to Yahuwah the
attributes, names and titles that belong to Satan.  However, that is not what is happening when
words such as “holy,” “glory” and “grace,” etc., are used. 

It
is important to remember that all words come from Yahuwah, because all
languages originate with Him.

And the whole earth was of one
language, and of one speech.

And they said, Go to, let us build
us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven . . . .

And Yahuwah said, Behold, the people
is one, and they have all one language . . .

Go to, let us go down, and there
confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.

Therefore is the name of it called
Babel; because Yahuwah did there confound the language of all the earth: and
from thence did Yahuwah scatter them abroad upon the face of all the
earth.  (See Genesis 11:1-9.) 

All
modern languages have roots in those original languages that Yahuwah gave at
Babel.  This does not mean that words
themselves are somehow pagan or that only Hebrew terms may be used to apply to
the Almighty.  The Creator Himself
assigned words for people, animals, foods . . . anything and everything on
earth and in Heaven, Yahuwah gave words for to the people – including words
that describe various divine attributes.

The
dishonor is not that words like “holy” and “glory,” words which are linked to
pagan gods, are used to describe Yahuwah. 
Those are simply the words that He gave at Babel to a group of Japhethites
to describe various attributes of the divine character.  When that tribe of Japhethites immigrated to
Europe and on into England, they brought with them the language assigned them
at Babel.  When they apostatized from the
worship of the Creator, they still used the language given them, only now
applying it to their false gods.  The
gross dishonor is that Satan has stolen those very words that describe Yahuwah
and used them as names for demon gods.

It
is possible to find pagan roots in all languages whose ancestors apostatized
from the worship of the true Creator. 
Even words like El and Elohim were stolen by Satan from the Hebrew and
used as names and titles for himself, represented by his pagan gods.  This does not make the words unfit for
use.  Rather, such words still belong to
Yahuwah. 

Satan stole the word “grace” and applied it to a
trilogy of pagan goddesses.  However,
this word, describing an outstandingly beautiful divine character attribute, still belongs to Yahuwah.  When something is stolen, it still belongs to the rightful owner.  Rather than not using these words which
rightfully belong to Yahuwah, we should reclaim them for His kingdom!  When we refuse to use words Yahuwah has given
to describe Himself, we limit our ability to communicate the wonderful truths
of salvation.  When this is done, Satan
wins.  Let us take back words that belong
to Yahuwah and not let Satan win!
