World's Last Chance

At the heart of WLC is the true God and his Son, the true Christ — for we believe eternal life is not just our goal, but our everything.

While WLC continues to uphold the observance of the Seventh-Day Sabbath, which is at the heart of Yahuwah's moral law, the 10 Commandments, we no longer believe that the annual feast days are binding upon believers today. Still, though, we humbly encourage all to set time aside to commemorate the yearly feasts with solemnity and joy, and to learn from Yahuwah's instructions concerning their observance under the Old Covenant. Doing so will surely be a blessing to you and your home, as you study the wonderful types and shadows that point to the exaltation of Messiah Yahushua as the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the conquering lion of the tribe of Judah, and the Lamb of Yahuwah that takes away the sins of the world.

You ignore Bible evidence against your teaching.

Objection:  The Luni-Solar advocates don't use all of the Bible texts, but choose the ones they think support their arguments. They call such selectivity taking here a little and there a little, but use this as an excuse to ignore evidence against their teaching.

Rebuttal:  We use the entire Scripture.  We do not ignore a single text on the subject of the Sabbath or the instructions involving its timing.  Please show us the texts we are ignoring. This is a broad charge that is not substantiated with any examples.  WLC desires to know only truth.  This is the purpose of the Challenge asking for Biblical evidence demonstrating if the lunar Sabbaths are wrong.  Last we knew examining texts here a little, there a little is a Scriptural mandate.  It is the method of Bible study taught by the Bible itself (see Isaiah 28:10, 13).

Without this scripturally-based, sound method of Biblical interpretation, there is danger of “proof texting”: taking one text out-of-context and hanging one’s entire theology on that single text, such as done with the belief in life-after-death.  True “here a little, there a little” always looks at all texts relating to the subject, ignoring none. In using “here a little, there a little” we have the company of a great scholar, William Miller, who stated: “To understand doctrine, bring all the scriptures together on the subject you wish to know; then let every word have its proper influence, and if you can form your theory without a contradiction, you cannot be in an error.”  (The Midnight Cry, November 17, 1842.). Unless those making this accusation wish to tear Isaiah 28:9-10 out of Scripture, they need to keep quiet

Here is how the WLC Team members, and most lunar Sabbath keepers we know, find truth.

1.  If we find a single text that says "thus saith Yahuwah", (Deuteronomy 8:3b, Matthew 4:10, Luke 4:8), it is truth, and I must admit it, and obey His command, whether there are 2-3 witnesses or not.

2.  If we find 2-3 witnesses, texts saying the same thing, (Genesis 41:32, Deuteronomy 19:15, II Corinthians 13:1) then it is truth that I must admit, and comply with.

3.  If we find a chain of texts where there is an unfolding of truth, one expounding upon the other, (Isaiah 28:9-10), it is truth that I am responsible for.

4.  If a doctrine agrees with the Torah and the prophets, neither adding nor subtracting anything, (Isaiah 8:20, Deuteronomy 4:2), it is the straight truth.

5.  A lack of all the above means that something is NOT true.  If there is no "thus saith Yahuwah, no 2-3 witnesses, no chain of textual evidence and no support found in the Torah and the prophets, then it is false.  It is our privilege to admit it and tell others that it has no foundation in truth.

Now, let the nay-sayers answer a question.  They have accused us of NOT using all the texts on the subject.  If this is so, please answer the following questions for us.

1.  Where does it say in Scripture that Saturday is the Sabbath?

2.  Where does it say in Scripture that the Sabbath is every seventh day in succession?

Please utilize ALL the texts you say we did not use to answer these questions.  Please share with us this evidence you seem to think we have ignored.  We all await your response.  When you discover that you have NO evidence, will you then retract your accusations?
