Miles Robey: Hello! Welcome to WLC Radio. I’m your host, Miles Robey. Dave Wright is joining me, and have we got a program for you today!

Dave Wright: That’s right, Miles. It’s about a secret hiding in plain sight. Or, more accurately, a deception hiding in plain sight. A deception so … ubiquitous that people don’t realize it’s a lie and they accept it as fact.

Miles: That may be your reaction, too, when we get into today’s discussion. If it is, I want to encourage you to keep an open mind. When something we’ve accepted as a self-evident fact is challenged, it’s easy to dismiss it as wrong without ever actually taking the time to consider the evidence. Please don’t do that with this all-important topic.

As German philosopher, Arthur Schopenhauer stated, quote: “All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.”

Dave: Or, as Solomon said, quote: “He who answers a matter before he hears it,
It is folly and shame to him.”

Miles: Oooo! Burn! Solomon really said that? That’s in the Bible?

Dave: Proverbs 18, verse 13.

Miles: All right, then. I’m going to remember that. You heard him, folks! Please don’t reject today’s topic simply because it contradicts or challenges a belief you’ve long assumed was fact.

Before we get into that, though, I want to let our first time listeners know that on WLC we always use the personal name of the Creator, which is Yahuwah, or Yah. The name itself is a promise because it comes from a verb of being. So, whatever you need, His name itself is a promise that He will be whatever it is you need for life, happiness, and salvation.

The name of the Son is also a promise. The Son’s name is Yahushua and means “Yahuwah saves.”

Dave: The beauty and promise of the divine name is such an integral part of knowing and understanding who they are, that Scripture repeatedly urges us to, quote: “Call upon the name of Yahuwah.” But that’s been lost in most modern translations who substitute the divine name with a generic title and refer to Him as simply, “the Lord.”

But it’s important that we know and use Yahuwah’s actual name. So, on WLC, when we read quotes that use the generic titles, but which are clearly referring to the Creator, we take the liberty of replacing the titles with the actual divine names.

Miles: Okay. Time for the big reveal. We’ve said today’s topic is going to be on a deception so widespread people have taken for granted that it’s fact. It’s about the Sabbath. Now, before you decide this doesn’t apply to you because your pastor has told you that the “law was nailed to the cross,” let me just say that this topic has some far-reaching effects, even for those who worship on Sunday. So, just bear with us.

Usually, Dave is the one that shares. He’s really a studier, is our Dave. But today’s topic is one we’ve both done extensive research on, so we’ve both got some points we’re wanting to share with you.

Dave: To state it briefly, just so you know where we’re going with this, the Jesuit Order has been the mastermind behind some of the largest deceptions in history. Today, we’re going to be talking about just one of them. Careful research of Scripture, archeology, and history, links them to the most recent cover-up in a lie spanning nearly one thousand, seven hundred years: the widely held belief that Saturday is the seventh-day Sabbath of the Bible.

Miles: Now, if you’re wondering what this has to do with you because you worship “every day” and you go to church on Sunday, I just want to point out that the only theological justification for worshipping on Sunday comes from the belief—which is also an assumption—that the Saviour was resurrected on Sunday. It’s the only reason priests and preachers ever give for why worship was changed from Sabbath to Sunday and not, say, Thursday, or Tuesday.

So, the reason you’re going to want to pay attention to today’s discussion is that this lie directly impacts the day on which you worship. So, wake up! Do some jumping jacks. But pay attention, because today’s topic impacts everyone on earth.

Dave: What we need to understand is that the assumption—the lie—that Saturday is the Biblical Sabbath and Sunday the day of Yahushua’s resurrection, is more than a single lie. It is based on an entire system of fabrication and deceit. One lie interweaves with and supports another lie.

Miles: Yeah. The very complexity gives the lies a surface feasibility.

Dave: The Jesuits are experts at hiding truth under multiple layers of lies. Since their very beginning, the Jesuits have institutionalized deceit. They are the source for an overwhelming number of varied conspiracies of evil spanning generations.

For nearly 500 years, the Jesuits have been cooperating with supernatural intelligences in a vast conspiracy. This plot is larger than any of us have ever previously realized.

So, let’s back engineer. Let’s take Saturday and work backwards to see why it is such an epic deception.

Miles: This link to the Jesuits is one area I haven’t studied as much as you have, Dave. Can you tell us more about that?

Dave: Jesuit involvement has been fundamental to this deception that hides the Creator’s true Sabbath and diverts worship away from Yahuwah. The Jesuit order is directly responsible for today’s counterfeit seventh-day Sabbath, followed by a fraudulent resurrection “Sunday.”

Miles: Yeah, but how? Specifically?

Dave: Specifically, the calendar. The world is united in using the Gregorian calendar. It is the de facto civil calendar of the world. Because people’s lives are regulated by their work and school schedules, their days of worship are also, by default, governed by this papal calendar.

Miles: I don’t think most people realize what a significant role the calendar plays, but it does.

I found an interesting quote on TempleInstitute.org. That’s the official website for the temple in Jerusalem. Anyway, this quote said: “The real battle in Israel is the battle over the calendar: for he who controls the calendar, controls the spiritual seasons of all living souls.”

Dave: It’s true. I’ve got another quote here. This one is from the late scholar, Zechariah Sitchin. It’s from his book, When Time Began. It says, quote:

The notion that the calendar was devised by and for farmers so that they would know when to sow and when to reap has been taken for granted too long; it fails both the test of logic and of fact. Farmers do not need a formal calendar to know the seasons, and primitive societies have managed to feed themselves for generations without a calendar.

The historic fact is that the calendar was devised in order to predetermine the precise time of festivals honoring the gods. The calendar, in other words, was a religious device.

Miles: Huh. That’s insightful.

Dave: The Jesuit Order is the architect of the Gregorian calendar. In a very real way, they control the world’s worship days. They control and regulate the worship times of all who calculate their days of worship by this calendar. Which, ironically, includes all three Abrahamic religions: Jews worship on Saturday, most Christians go to church on Sunday—

Miles: Although, there are over 500 Protestant denominations that also worship on Saturday.

Dave: But it’s still “Saturday” of the papal calendar! It’s not the Sabbath of the Bible.

Miles: True. And Muslims go to mosque for prayers on Friday.

You know my love of words. Well, I was curious how the dictionary defines “worship.” It defines worship as, quote: “The act of paying divine honors to the Supreme Being; or the reverence and homage paid to him in religious exercises.” Unquote.

In other words, anyone who controls the calendar, controls worship because he exercises authoritative or dominating influence over worship.

Dave: And don’t forget: Roman Catholics openly state that this universal control of worship times is their sign or mark of authority. I’ve printed off some quotes here. These are from the writings of Catholics themselves. Listen to what they have to say.

The American Catholic Quarterly Review stated, quote: “The Sunday … is purely a creation of the Catholic Church.”

The American Sentinel, another Catholic publication, said, quote: “Sunday…is the law of the Catholic Church alone … ”

The Catholic Press stated, quote: “Sunday is a Catholic institution and its claim to observance can be defended only on Catholic principles…From beginning to end of Scripture there is not a single passage that warrants the transfer of weekly public worship from the last day of the week to the first.” Unquote.

These are Catholics themselves admitting this!

Miles: This is a deception that’s hiding in plain sight, though, because—like you said—it assumes Saturday is the seventh-day Sabbath of Scripture and Sunday the day of Christ’s resurrection.

I have some other quotes from Catholic writers that also make that assumption, and that’s what’s so deceptive about it.

H. F. Thomas, the Chancellor for Cardinal Gibbons, said, quote: “Of course the Catholic Church claims that the change (Saturday Sabbath to Sunday) was her act … And the act is a mark of her ecclesiastical authority in religious things.”

A Catholic publication called the Catholic Record published this quote:

“Sunday is founded, not of scripture, but on tradition, and is distinctly a Catholic institution. As there is no scripture for the transfer of the day of rest from the last to the first day of the week, Protestants ought to keep their Sabbath on Saturday and thus leave Catholics in full possession of Sunday.” Unquote.

This is a lie hiding in plain sight!

Dave: Yep. That’s the most effective kind. A lie hiding in plain sight isn’t questioned or critically analyzed. Its existence is simply taken for granted! The modern calendar is a fraud and it’s doing precisely that.

See, the assumption is made that because time is continuous, the weekly cycle has also always been continuous. By extension, it’s assumed that the modern week beginning on Sunday and ending on Saturday has just always been.

Miles: This is where I want to urge our listening audience: please, do your own research on this. It doesn’t take a lot of digging to uncover that the facts contradict this assumption.

In fact, the last country to adopt the Gregorian calendar for civil use was Saudi Arabia in 2016! That’s recent!

Dave: Everyone knows who Nicolaus Copernicus was.

Miles: Right. He was the Catholic scholar whose theories on a globe earth were used by the Jesuits to further their end-time agenda.

Dave: What most people don’t know is that he was approached by a papal commission as early as the beginning of the sixteenth century. They wanted his views on calendar reform.

Miles: Interesting. What did he say?

Dave: Well, at first he didn’t want to answer. He told them, back in 1514, that he didn’t understand the motions of the sun and moon sufficiently to attempt a reform of the calendar. Eventually, though, his work "De Revolutionibus Orbium Cœlestium,” published in 1543, enabled Erasmus Reinhold, in 1554, to devise his Prutenic Tables. These were later used as the basis for the Gregorian calendar.

Miles: Another key player in the development of the Gregorian calendar was Aloisius Lilius. According to the Catholic Encyclopedia, he was the, quote “chief architect” of the Gregorian calendar.

He was a Catholic physician and professor of medicine. His ideas were used by Jesuit astronomer-priest, Christopher Clavius, for the new calendar.

Dave: Before we go on, I want to clarify one point. The calendar they were reforming was not the Biblical calendar. We’ll say more on this in a little bit. But for now, just know that it was the pagan Julian calendar, established by Julius Caesar back in 45 BCE.

This reformed calendar was named after Pope Gregory XIII. That’s where we get the name, “Gregorian calendar” from; it’s a papal device, through and through.

Miles: One thing that most people don’t know is that when the Gregorian calendar was first introduced, it was rejected by Protestant countries because they saw it as a Catholic institution.

A papal bull, Inter Gravissimas, was issued February 24, 1582. It ordered Catholic clergy to accept it and exhorted Catholic monarchs to do the same. At the time, the only countries that accepted it were Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland and most areas of France.

Dave: All Catholic countries.

Miles: Right. It took over 430 years for the rest of the world to accept it.

Dave: The thing everyone needs to understand is that the pope’s calendar, which is in use throughout the world today, is a device for religious control.

Catholics themselves admit it! The Catholic Encyclopedia states, quote: “The reform of the calendar was from the start connected with general councils, [namely] those of Nicæa ([in] 325), of Constance (1414-1418), of Basle ([in] 1431), the Fifth of the Lateran ([from] 1512-1517), and that of Trent (1545-1563).”

Miles: We don’t usually connect religious observance to astronomy, but there’s a close connection. From the very beginning, Jesuits have dominated the field of astronomy and other closely related scientific fields.

Dave: Well, take the theory of the Big Bang. It was invented by a Jesuit-trained priest! Father Georges Lemaître. Not sure if I’m saying that correctly, but the point is: knowledge of astronomy was critical for the Jesuits to have. Without it, they could not have reformed the calendar because time-measurement is always dependent on the movement of the heavenly bodies.

Miles: The Gregorian calendar was conceived with one primary motive: to conceal truth and perpetrate falsehood. It provided more a camouflage so truth seekers would be diverted in their attempts to uncover truth. We’re going to talk about that some more right after this short break. Stay tuned!

Part 2: (Miles & Dave)

Miles: Okay, in our first segment, we discussed the development of the Gregorian calendar. It was devised by a Jesuit astronomer and it is the primary reason most people today assume that the week as we now have it has come down, uninterrupted, from Creation. But let’s take a closer look at that. The facts, again, are going to prove otherwise.

Dave: The reason most people assume that our modern week has come down in an uninterrupted cycle from Creation is simply because when the Julian calendar transitioned to the revised Gregorian calendar, no days of the week were lost. Thursday, October 4, 1582, was followed by Friday, October 15. Only the numbering was changed as 10 dates were dropped from the calendar. That’s all.

This is why people today assume that Saturday is the Biblical Sabbath, and Sunday is the day of Yahushua’s resurrection.

Miles: Well, it’s fact. There were no days of the week lost when the Julian calendar transitioned to the Gregorian. And this is what confuses most people. This is where they quit digging.

But the extrapolation that since no days of the week were lost when the Gregorian calendar was adopted this somehow “proves” the modern weekly cycle has remained unchanged since Creation is simply incorrect.

However, it does create a diversion that hides the truth. And that is: the true Biblical Sabbath, as observed by patriarchs, apostles, and Yahushua, was calculated by a different calendar, with a different weekly cycle.

In fact—

Dave: Well, wait just a second before you go on, Miles. Let’s explain what we mean by a weekly cycle. This is a key point.

The Gregorian calendar, like the Julian calendar before it, has a continuous weekly cycle. What this means, is that Wednesday, January 31, is immediately followed by Thursday, February 1. Or, take the end of the year: Monday, December 31 of one year, is followed immediately by Tuesday, January 1, of the next year. There is no interruption in the days of the week.

Miles: This’s not how it worked on the Biblical calendar.

Dave: On Yah’s calendar, each month started with New Moon Day. A workweek followed, ending with a seventh-day Sabbath on the 8^th of the month. On the Biblical calendar, the seventh-day Sabbath always fell on the 8^th, 15^th, 22^nd, and 29^th days of the month. Months had only 29 or 30 days.

The very next month also began with a New Moon Day. The weekly cycle then restarted. What this means for us today, is that Saturday is not the seventh-day Sabbath of Scripture, and Sunday is not the day of Christ’s resurrection, because you cannot have a continuous weekly cycle like today’s and expect it to align with the days of the week on a calendar where the weekly cycle starts over again every single month. It just doesn’t work. The days don’t line up.

Miles: Thanks, Dave. Yeah, that’s important to understand.

This transition from the pagan Julian calendar to Pope Gregory’s calendar, happened over 430 years ago! The weight of the lies themselves has a superficial weight of authority.

Dave: This is why people assume a continuous weekly cycle has come down uninterrupted since Creation. Truth seekers point to the smooth transition of Julian to Gregorian and they don’t investigate further.

But the Gregorian calendar is just another layer of deception. You peel away this layer and you discover … the post-Nicean Julian calendar.

Miles: Another calendar with a continuous weekly cycle. So, researchers are convinced they’ve uncovered the truth!

Dave: To find the truth about the true Sabbath and the actual day of Christ’s resurrection, it’s necessary to go past that and dig still further. Again, the papal Gregorian calendar was based on the pagan Julian calendar.

Miles: In fact, Christopher Clavius? The Jesuit astronomer that devised the Gregorian calendar? He admitted this himself! In a book he wrote explaining the Gregorian calendar, Clavius stated that when the Julian calendar was made the ecclesiastical calendar of the Church at the Council of Nicea, the Church deliberately rejected the Biblical calendar and instead adopted pagan calendation! That’s huge!

Dave: Not only that, but the modern week, Sunday through Saturday, can be traced back, past the calendar transition of 1582, to the Council of Nicea. The week, as we know it today, was standardized at that time.

Robert Odom wrote a book that traced the acceptance of the pagan calendar by the Christian church. It’s called Sunday in Roman Paganism. On page 202 he wrote, quote:

The pagan names of the planetary week have been perpetuated in the calendar in use among the so-called Christian nations. Every time we look at the calendar we have before us a constant reminder of the amalgamation of paganism and Christianity that took place as a result of the great religious apostasy….

Miles: Well, there you go. Listen, folks: the planetary week did not, as we’ve assumed, come from the Jews and Creation week. Instead, it came from the Persian mystery religions. Franz Cumont was a respected scholar who wrote extensively about the Persian mystery religions. He said, quote:

It is not to be doubted that the diffusion of the Iranian [Persian] mysteries has had a considerable part in the general adoption, by the pagans, of the week with the Sunday as a holy day. The names which we employ, unawares, for the other six days, came into use at the same time that Mithraism won its followers in the provinces in the West, and one is not rash in establishing a relation of coincidence between its triumph and that concomitant phenomenon.

Unquote. This is incredible information! Our modern week comes from a heathen religion!

Dave: Amazing. Getting back to Odom, he really understood the significance of this. He said, quote:

It seems as if some spiritual genius having control over the pagan world had so ordered things that the heathen planetary week should be introduced just at the right time for the most popular Sun cult of all ages to come along and exalt the day of the Sun as a day above and more sacred than all the rest. Surely this was not accidental.

Miles: Oh, yeah! I want to tell them about this next part. This really blew my mind when I was studying this.

You can’t stop at the adoption of the Gregorian calendar, folks. You see, when the Julian calendar adopted the pagan week, it originally began on … drum roll! … Saturday!

Consequently, it ended on Friday! This was later changed as Mithraism spread in the west, and even influenced early Christianity. But right here we’ve got proof that the week as we know it today did not come down in a continuous cycle from Creation.

Dave: I found another great quote from Franz Cumont that says the same thing. He wrote, quote:

“The pre-eminence assigned to the dies Solis [day of the Sun] also certainly contributed to the general recognition of Sunday as a holiday. This is connected with a more important fact, namely, the adoption of the week by all the European nations.” Unquote.

It’s not that the early Europeans did not have a week. The point is, the week they had been using was different.

The Mithraists wanted to start the week on Sunday, in honor of their sun god, Mithras. This is when many early Christians, forsaking the seventh-day Sabbath calculated by the Biblical calendar, began worshipping on Sunday, too. This was done ostensibly in honor of Yahushua’s resurrection on the first day of the week, but it wasn’t the first day of the Biblical week, and they knew it.

Miles: Because the Biblical week is seven days long, and the Julian, and now Gregorian, weeks are also seven days long, I can see how people have assumed that today’s week comes from Creation. But, as you said earlier, when we back engineer it, when you go clear back to the early Julian calendar, the facts are clear: today’s week comes from the heathen mystery religions, not the Bible.

One thing I was surprised to learn—they don’t teach you this sort of thing in school!—was that the early Julian calendar actually had an eight-day week. It wasn’t seven days long. It was actually eight days. They designated it by the letters A through H.

Dave: You know the Jews of Yahushua’s day wouldn’t have worshipped on the seventh day of an eight day week.

Miles: Yeah! That’s what I was just going to say. They still used the calendar of Moses, the same luni-solar calendar that had been handed down from Creation.

The apostles and the earliest Christians all worshipped on the seventh-day Sabbath of the Biblical calendar, although by the second century, some Christians had been influenced enough by Mithraism to worship on Saturday or Sunday of the pagan, planetary week.

Dave: Let’s talk about this transition for just a bit. We’re not used to thinking of the early Christians worshipping on a variety of different days calculated by different calendars, but that’s exactly what happened clear up to the Council of Nicea.

That was when the ancient calendar was set aside. The Council decreed that the pagan Julian calendar was to be used for all religious observances. Some Christians tried to protest, but ultimately, they lost because the council was backed by the imperial might of Constantine the Great.

Miles: When you stop and think about what this means for Christians, the ramifications are huge and horrifying. Neither Christians nor Jews, Protestants or Catholics, are actually honoring Yahuwah by worshiping on His holy days. And I’m not just talking about the Sabbath. I’m talking about the true day of the resurrection, too. That’s not Sunday.

Dave: You’ve studied more on the Jewish angle of this subject. Do you think Jewish lay people know that Saturday isn’t the original Sabbath?

Miles: That’s a good question. I honestly don’t know. I do know this, however, that Jewish scholars know the truth. There are a lot of quotes in the writings of Jewish scholars that we haven’t understood because we’ve all assumed that the Jews wouldn’t worship on anything but the true, ancient Sabbath. But you start studying this and you quickly realize that assumption isn’t true.

For example, one of the clearest quotes I know comes from an early 20th century edition of the Universal Jewish Encyclopedia.

It says, quote: “The New Moon is still, and the Sabbath originally was, dependent upon the lunar cycle . . . Originally the New Moon was celebrated in the same way as the Sabbath; gradually it became less important while the Sabbath became more and more a day of religion and humanity, of religious meditation and instruction, of peace and delight of the soul.”

Dave: We don’t have that today. There’s no such thing as a “New Moon” day on the solar Gregorian calendar.

Miles: Right! And without New Moons, you can’t calculate either the true Sabbath, or the actual day of Yahushua’s resurrection. You’re left with nothing but pagan days of worship, calculated by a papal calendar which, itself, is an adaption of a calendar used by pagan sun worshippers!

There’s one way and one way only to find Yah’s true Sabbath, and that is by using the calendar of Scripture—the same calendar established at Creation. It’s a luni-solar calendar, not the solar calendar of the Catholics and the pagans.

Dave: I want to bring this full circle around back to the Jesuits. For nearly 500 years Satan has worked through them to advance his agenda. The Gregorian Calendar adds yet another layer of deception. It hides the truth about the Biblical calendar and the original Sabbath of Creation. Their intent was to bury it so deeply that this truth would never be uncovered and restored. That’s what Satan’s agenda, implemented through the Jesuits, has been.

Satan began a campaign to “dumb down” the intellect of the general populace. This campaign began with the formation of the Jesuit order at the very same time divine truths were being restored via the Protestant Reformation. Jesuits are known worldwide for three things: 1) their ruthless missionary zeal; 2) their presence in the field of astronomy; 3) their educational system.

Miles: Well, yeah. Anyone willing to look at the evidence will see the Jesuit agenda behind their counterfeit calendar.

It’s no coincidence that the Gregorian calendar was created within the same century that the Catholic Church established the Jesuit order. It just formed one more layer of deceit. It solidified the assumption that the modern, continuous weekly cycle has always existed.

Dave: So, any evidence demonstrating that Saturday is not the Sabbath of the Bible is immediately dismissed as impossible.

Miles: You see it all the time! You try and share this truth and what people do is point to 1582. They point to the fact that no days of the week were lost when the Julian calendar transitioned to the Gregorian … and this is supposed to be accepted as proof that today’s week has come down uninterrupted from Creation. But it’s circular reasoning. It’s saying: Today’s week has come down uninterrupted from Creation, because the weekly cycle has never been interrupted. It’s circular reasoning!

Dave: Well, it goes right along with another piece of circular reasoning that says: “The Jews worship on the Sabbath, Therefore, Saturday is the Biblical Sabbath because that’s when the Jews worship.”

Let’s get logical people! The proof is there! And it does not support a Saturday-Sabbath or a Sunday-resurrection.

Miles: The problem is, this assumption has become so deeply entrenched, no one ever stops to question it anymore! It’s just commonly accepted “knowledge.”

Dave: Even though it’s a lie. The problem is, you suggest anything different and people are going to laugh at you. Peer pressure can be a real detriment to independent thinking. But that’s exactly what we need to do if we want to benefit from the increased knowledge Heaven is pouring out.

We don’t expect you to take our word for it. But, please: don’t reject it as wrong before you’ve actually sat down and looked at the evidence. It’s too important to get wrong.

* * *Daily Mailbag (Miles & Dave)

Miles: Today’s program has been sort of heavy. It’s important, but I thought we could benefit from the reminder of why we want to follow Yahuwah regardless of the cost.

We’ve got a fantastic question from a young man in Fremantle, Australia. Patrick says: “Dear WLC: I’m 10 years old and my family home churches. Every Sabbath, we listen to one of your radio programs on your website. My sister and I really like the Pilgrim’s Progress stories, too. I know Pilgrim’s Progress is a made-up story that teaches a lesson, but it got me wondering what life in the new earth will really be like. Does the Bible say? Is there any way to know what it’s really like there? Thanks, Patrick.”

Dave: I like your question, Patrick, and I’m glad you’ve asked. Some people hesitate over making it seem too real, as though that somehow makes it … I don’t know. Not so holy, I suppose.

But the truth is, Yahuwah wants us to know! He wants us to be excited about it.

Miles: He wants us to want to go there.

Dave: Exactly! When my son was a few years older than you, Patrick, he asked a similar question. He said, “Dad, are we going to get to do anything fun in the New Earth? Or is it going to be like just a long church service?”

Miles laughs: Well, you know, that’s a fair question! I know when I was about that age, I heard this sermon that talked about the beasts that are around the throne in heaven. I got all worried that eternal life would be nothing but everyone all standing around intoning endlessly: “Holy. Holy. Holy.”

Dave laughs: That would turn anyone off from wanting to go there!

The Bible does give us some hints about life in the new earth. We know that the New Jerusalem will be brought down from Heaven. That’s the city that is Yah’s home, and the home of all the holy angels. It will also be the home of the redeemed throughout all eternity. It will be the capitol city of the new earth.

Revelation 21 gives us a physical description of what the city looks like. We don’t have time to read it in its entirety, but if you want to know what it looks like, I’d encourage you to read it for yourself.

Miles: What chapter is that again?

Dave: Revelation 21. But, just to give you a few highlights, here’s some of what that chapter tells us. First of all, it’s built in a square. It has 12 foundation stones, and the stones are double refractory. This means that light shines in and also shines back out.

Miles: Like a diamond.

Dave: Exactly. Diamonds are double refractory, as are sapphires, emeralds, amethysts, etc. All those are among the 12 foundation stones.

The walls are gold and are 144 cubits, or 61 meters, thick!

Miles: Wow.

Dave: I know! But there’s more. The city itself is built in the shape of a square and is 12,000 stadia. That’s 2,253 kilometers square!

Miles: That’s immense! That’s larger than some countries!

Dave: Well, it’s going to house a lot of beings!

The city also has 12 gates, three on each side, and each gate is a single, gigantic pearl.

I know we don’t have time to read a lot, but I really appreciate the description in verses 23 and 24. Could you read that for us, please?

Miles: “The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of Yah illuminated it. The Lamb is its light. And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light.”

Dave: Nothing unsafe or dangerous, or sinful, will be allowed to enter there. There will be nothing but endless joy. But there’s more to eternal life than sitting on a fluffy cloud, strumming a harp.

Turn over to 1 Corinthians, chapter 2, and read verse 9.

Miles: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which Yahuwah has prepared for those who love Him.”

Dave: That’s a promise! It’s saying, Eternal life will be so good, you can’t even imagine all the wonderful things you will get to learn, and experience, and enjoy. Anything you want to pursue, anything you want to learn, will be possible.

It’s not going to be some utterly boring existence. It’s going to be the most wonderful, awe-inspiring joy any of us can even try to imagine.

What’s more, everyone you meet will be like your best friend! He (or she) may have been born 700 years ago. Maybe she (or he) was born before the flood! But now, you can meet and become best friends.

Miles: When you have Yahuwah in common, you can become best friends with anybody!

Dave: That’s true. And, we’ll get to meet people from all ages past, and spend time with angels, Yahushua, and even Yahuwah Himself.

In closing, I just want to add that anything we go through on earth is cheap enough just to be able to get there and be with the Father and the Son.

Hello! This is Elise O’Brien with your Daily Promise from Yah’s Word.

Back in 1989, spring in Andover, Ohio, in the United States, had brought with it a lot of rain. Next to Ray Blankenship’s house was a deep drainage ditch filled with the runoff. Ray was busy preparing his breakfast one morning when he looked out the window and saw a little girl in the swiftly flowing muddy waters of the ditch.

Ray knew that further downstream, the ditch emptied into a culvert that passed underneath the road. He took off running after the child, trying desperately to get ahead of her. He plunged into the cold, churning water. Surfacing, he just managed to grasp the little girl’s arm. They both were tumbled about in the strong current.

About one meter from the culvert, Ray’s flailing hand grabbed hold of something protruding from the bank. He clung to it with all his might, but the current was so strong, it kept trying to tear him away. Branches and other debris slammed up against him and his grip started to slip.

“I just have to hang on until help comes,” he thought.

By the time fire-department rescuers arrived, Ray had somehow managed to pull the little girl to safety. Both were treated for shock, but both survived.

On April 12, 1989, Ray Blankenship was awarded the Coast Guard’s Silver Lifesaving Medal. It was an appropriate award for an incredibly brave, selfless act. You see, Ray Blankenship could not swim.

Life may be good, but it can also be hard. There are dangers and difficulties all along the way. But for the Christian, there is also help. Philippians 4, verse 13, states: “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”

And it’s true! We haven’t been left alone here on earth, to struggle along in our own strength, making mistakes because we lack wisdom. Yahuwah has promised to meet every need. It doesn’t matter what your need is.

Psalm 37, verse 24, assures us, quote: “Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for Yahuwah upholdeth him with His hand.”

With the promises of Yah, you truly can do “all things” through Yahushua. Like Paul asked in Romans 8, verse 31: “If Yah be for us, who can be against us?”

We have been given great and precious promises. Go, and start claiming!

Dave: Please study this out, folks.

Break out of the mind chains. Think for yourself! Study for yourself!

Miles: Oh, yeah. That’s so important. We really have been dumbed down. And it’s been on purpose.

The Jesuits, through their missionaries, their influential presence in the scientific world, and their schools and universities, have actively molded the thinking of generations.

Dave: And it’s been successful. People’s attention spans, their ability to focus, to reason from cause to effect, to apply learned concepts to their lives, is so diminished, they can easily be controlled by the powers-that-be.

The average person no longer has the ability to sit down and focus on a subject long enough to research it thoroughly. They quickly become bored and quit studying before the topic is ever fully resolved.

Miles: It’s true. Not many people have the ability to make a conclusion based on the accumulated weight of evidence.

Dave: Fewer still ever manage to move the new information practically into their day-to-day lives in any impactful way. Critical thinking has been lost and that, too, is part of the Jesuits’ master plan.

Without critical thinking skills, people look to outside authorities. Instead of trusting their own ability to arrive at a logical conclusion, they turn to respected scholars, their pastors or priests, even the state-controlled media, to tell them what’s truth and what to believe.

So, just a few at the top can control the public’s behavior because they control their thinking through the flow of what information they allow to reach the masses.

Miles: It’s well past time for each one of us to dig in and study for ourselves. It’s past time to know what you believe and, more, why you believe what you do.

And it’s of the utmost importance in studying any new topic that you keep an open mind. Don’t fall prey to information bias!

Dave: That’s a real danger. Have you heard of William Paley?

Miles: No.

Dave: Well, he was an English clergyman and Christian philosopher back in the 18^th century. He once wrote, quote: “There is a principle which is a bar against all information which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance. That principle is contempt before investigation.”

Miles: That’s good.

Dave: We can’t afford to contemptuously dismiss truth before giving it a proper investigation. Keeping an open mind means that you’re willing to accept whatever conclusion the Holy Spirit reveals to be truth, regardless of what it is.

It’s impossible to arrive at truth if you begin your study by seeking to prove the new idea wrong. It may be wrong. On the other hand, it might just be right! Don’t prejudice your mind and skew your research by trying to prove it wrong before you know what all the evidence reveals.

Miles: And don’t be afraid to question. I’ve noticed a lot of believers are afraid to question. They’re afraid they’ll somehow magically be led into doubt. But that’s not how it works. Yahuwah created the human brain to be logical.

In Isaiah 1, verse 18, He says: “Come now, and let us reason together.” That’s an invitation He’s giving each one of us.

Dave: It can be frightening to open your mind to accept the possibility that what you’ve always believed to be truth is, in fact, error.

But Yahuwah has pledged to keep safe that which has been entrusted to His care. He’s not going to let you get led astray against your will.

Miles: Yeah, we can trust Him to keep us safe while we look at these things. I really like Paul’s words in 2 Timothy 1, verse 12. He said: “I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.”

Dave: If all you do is just change your authority figure, you can be led astray again. Spiritual leaders draw their paychecks from religious organizations that teach worship on Saturday or Sunday of the Gregorian calendar! They have a vested interest in preserving traditional theology. You’re not going to learn full truth from them as a result.

You have to go to the source of all wisdom, the Creator, for yourself. Trust Him to teach you what’s truth and what’s error.

Miles: The assumption that Saturday is the Biblical Sabbath and Sunday is the day of Yahushua’s resurrection is a dangerous error because it sets believers up to accept Satan’s delusions!

Dave: And listen: don’t be afraid to study new ideas. In the last chapter of Daniel, the old prophet was given a promise. Daniel 12, verse 4, says: “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”

Now, invariably, we tend to interpret this text to be a reference to advanced technology. And yeah, technology has advanced exponentially in the last 120 years.

But the increase of knowledge given is much more significant than just technology. This increased knowledge refers to the exposure of all the lies that have been taught as truth.

Miles: I just have to say, now is the time to do this studying. Every soul on earth has a decision to make before the final judgment.

Dave: Organized religion has been built upon multiple layers of lies. Every one of us alive today is faced with a decision: “Do I follow inconvenient truth? Or cling to a convenient lie?”

Remember: not knowing truth does not change the reality of what is truth.

Miles: Following truth regardless of the cost takes sacrifice. It takes commitment. Accepting unpopular truth opens you up to the ridicule of those who cling to the lie.

Dave: It can also impact one’s job and even one’s marriage.

Miles: It can! But it’s a decision facing every individual on earth: The truth? Or the lie?

The lie seems comfortable. Plausible. Convenient. It’s the foundational understanding on which other beliefs have been built. But now, with truth being restored, with knowledge being increased, it’s of vital importance to your eternal destiny to uncover lies and accept truth, no matter how ridiculed it is, or how inconvenient its impact on your life.

Please: don’t dismiss what you’ve heard today. Dig in and study this out for yourself. Your eternal destiny hangs on the decisions you make, based on the truth available to you.
